What to Set Aside for Photographer!
As you start planning your wedding, especially when jumping down the many rabbit holes in Pinterest, you'll quickly learn about "invitation suites" and "detail shots." You'll likely want to decide exactly what to set aside for your photographer so you can get similarly stunning wedding day photos.
Detail shots can capture almost anything at your wedding that makes the day feel extra special and welcoming to your guests, and they also serve as a beautiful reminder of the thought and care that went into it.
Most people don't realize that many of these things should be intentionally set aside during the planning process to give to your photographer on the wedding day. As a professional wedding planner, I take care to include this in our planning schedule, which is then carried over to our day-of documents, ensuring that nothing gets overlooked.
Here is a full list of everything you should be thinking of setting aside. Also, keep a packing list throughout the planning process. Then you will have a master list to use the week of the wedding. This will ensure you get everything you envision from your photographer!
